Junior Deployment and Support Engineer
Middlesex
£20k - £25k dependent on experience
Our client in the telecommunications industry is searching for a Junior Deployment Engineer. Should have at least 1 to 3 yrs experience in a customer support role with a proven record of trouble shooting. Experience of UNIX and Oracle and databases is essential with a working knowledge of Windows. Capable of writing UNIX shell scripts * VB scripts * DOS scripts. Basic knowledge of TCP*IP is required in addition to a basic knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of software * system deployment and customisation required, ideally in a cellular environment (ROC). Willingness to travel on a regular basis. Energetic, self-starter and team player who works to tight deadlines. So candidates will have to understand the company product in detail and is able to apply this knowledge to provide a first class service to all the company’s customers. Language: Should have excellent communication skills and command of the English language. Working knowledge of French is an advantage.
